So it seemed the big island is not for us. First night we showed up at the coffee farm we were gonna do a work trade at, we were pretty grossed out by the cleanliness of it. Libby actually slept in her hammock instead of the cardboard pallet bed that Steven slept on. So we left, and were welcomed on a really beautiful farm on the South Kona side 1/2 mile from Kealakekua Bay. The whole time we were there though, we were weak and were having stomach pains. We rented a car to check out the whole island and ended up getting our gas siphoned the last night as well.. So we took those as hints and dropped off the car and bought tickets to honolulu where most mainland/international flights come to/go from. So here we are sitting, at Starbucks in Honolulu, figuring out where to next. Being in a city after so long feels good for the moment.
